Richard Leos, 69, of Aurora, passed away January 7, 2019.

He was born April 6, 1949 in Los Angeles, California, the son of Moises and Sophia Sherry (Wassell) Leos.

On April 10, 1980, he married Ardith L. Joynes.

Richard was a member of the Teamsters Union.

Richard loved working on his landscaping and working on his cars. He enjoyed listening to music, was an exquisite dancer when he was able and loved traveling abroad and cruising on the large ships. He loved to cook and loved to tell a good joke. Richard had a sweet tooth - loved his chocolate. He also loved to watch and talk about boxing. Western movies were also a favorite to watch. Richard loved spending time with his friends and to talk story. He was an animal lover, doting on his dog, Fuzzy. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and cherished the time that he spent with his grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Ardith L. Leos; five children, Sterling H. Bittle, Teman Teofilo, Quana L. Bittle, Gabriel R. Bittle and Mosette (Darren) Henderson; five grandchildren, Destiny Johnson, Sterling H. Jones, Davion A. Henderson, CamRon M. Leos and Daniyah R. Henderson; two brothers, William Leos and Donald Barry; two sisters, Sherry Hernandez and Janet Meza and many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by Father, Moises Leos and Mother, Sophia Sherry Leos.
