Stella Louise Chacon, 94, passed into heaven on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

She was bon in Ignacio, CO in 1924 to Pedro and Eligia Silva. Stella married Fred Chacon in 1954 and lived in Denver, CO. Stella was a Home Health Aid and an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. She took great pride in her work, faith and family.

Stella is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Fernandez of Littleton, son-in-law Bob Fernandez and daughter-in-law Rona Chacon; four grandchildren, Fred Chacon IV, Maxie Chacon, Jennifer Fernandez and Bobby Fernandez. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Chacon and her son Fred Chacon III. She also leaves two sisters Pauline Archuleta and Lena Economas.

A viewing and memorial service will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11 am, Monday, January 28th followed by a memorial mass at 12 noon. Burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery will commence at 2:00 pm.
