Adrienne Daisy Amador
1938 - 2019

Adrienne D. Amador, age 80, passed into the presence of her Lord on Sunday, February 17th, 2019 in her Littleton home, surrounded by all five of her children and beloved husband. Adrienne was born in Valdez, CO on June 11, 1938 on a farm near Trinidad, CO to Adrian and Mary Ann Malbacias and was the oldest daughter of 7 children; Donald Adams, Adrian Malbacias Jr., Jaqueline Trujillo, Irene Malbacias, Greg Malbacias and Elena Malbacias. Adrienne was preceded in death by her parents, sister Irene and grandson Jesse.
She was a devoted wife of 63 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was married to her childhood sweetheart, Richard Amador, on March 10th, 1956 in Denver, CO. Her husband is left to honor her memory along with their five children, Jeannette (Melvin) Brindley, Linda Burgdorf, Richard (Kelley) Amador, Stephen Amador, and Thomas Amador; along with 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews.
“Mumsie”, as she was fondly called, will be remembered as a gentle and kind soul who extended her love generously to all who knew her. She will be remembered especially as a beloved sister in Christ by many of her fellow parishioners at Red Rocks Baptist Church, South Sheridan Baptist Church, and Bible Baptist Church in which she served through the years and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 1st, 2019 at 9:30 am with funeral services to begin 10:30 am at Red Rocks Baptist Church, 14711 W. Morrison Road, Morrison, CO, with the Rev. Les Heinz officiating. The Amador family would like to extend an invitation to a memorial reception following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials may be made in Adrienne’s name to the Missionary Fund at Red Rocks Baptist Church.
