Norma was the proud mother of nine children. Terry Michael Hope, Robin Mitchell Cook, Mary Olivia and James Lee Greer. She later met and married the love of her life Willie Hardin and to this union five children were born, Brenda Lee, William Daniel, Eric Jerome, JoLynn and Tina Zeola Hardin.
Norma was very smart, loved to read and would read anything, and when she was younger she loved to dance. She had a strut that was really something else. She was very protective of her siblings and her children, don’t mess with Norma’s family. She was an excellent cook and loved to cook, she was the first in the family to own a microwave and learned to cook almost anything in it. She made sure that her children and grand-children went to church.
She was a caregiver where she worked in a nursing home and private homes, she wasn’t afraid of work, even worked in the janitorial field. Last she was the manager of the 28th Ave. Laundromat and her customers just loved her. Finally after retiring she wanted to take care of her grandchildren, they all called her “Granny.”
