Wyndol Gretchen Carlis-Thompson but her friends and family called her Wendy, was born August 15, 1964, to Glorious White-Carlis (deceased) and Winford Carlis. Wendy had two siblings, Shaun L. Price and Carol Carlis-Adams who proceed Wendy in death. Wendy grew up in Denver, CO and attended Denver Public Schools graduating from George Washington HS in 1982.

Wendy loved life to the fullest, she loved music, great food and having a great time with friends and family. Wendy moved to Texas and lived there for the last 12 years. While in Texas she was baptized and gave her life to the Lord. Wendy recently returned to Denver in the loving care of her father Win. Wyndol Gretchen Carlis-Thompson departed this life on April 7th in the year of our Lord two-thousand and nineteen in Denver CO. Those left to cherish her memory are her 3 children Jerimiah Carlis, Shauna Stuntz (Gabriel) and Hope Carlis-Thompson, her husband Ron Thompson and her father Win or as Wendy would call him Papasan and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her memory will be forever in the hearts of her family and friends. Wendy, you will be greatly missed.
