Winnie Faye Lucas, 87, of Aurora, passed away May 11, 2019.
She was born December 30, 1931 in Waxahachie, Texas, the daughter of Ira and Ella (Adams) Watson. She was a graduate of Moore High School.
Winnie was the owner and director of a daycare center in Los Angeles for many years. She was also a big Denver Broncos fan.
Winnie is survived by her sister, Virgerine Alexander; three nephews, Larry Alexander, Wayne (Claudia) Alexander, and Anthony Quinn; and niece, Chanta Thomas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter V. Lucas, Jr.; and parents, Ira and Ella Mae Watson.
Per her wishes, no services will be held and will be buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery to join her husband.
