Ruth Nerine Snyder, 79, of Aurora, passed away May 29, 2019.
She was born August 7, 1939 in Salida, Colorado, the daughter of Cleo and Ila (Bogart) Justice. She was a graduate of Climax High School in Climax, Colorado. On August 8, 1959 Nerine married David Snyder at the Denver First Church of the Nazarene on 10th and Kalamath in Denver, Colorado.
Nerine was an excellent baker. She baked and decorated cakes for many different occasions. She liked to knit and crotchet and would make identical outfits for her children when they were younger. She was very active in her church community, being involved with Sunday School, the Caravan Program, and the IN Group. Nerine enjoyed traveling with her family. One of her favorite destinations to visit was Hawaii. Nerine also enjoyed going on cruises with her husband and family.
Ruth is survived by her husband, David Snyder; three sons, Keith (Sally) Snyder, Kevin Snyder, and Karl Snyder; daughter, Karen (Scott) Smith; six grandchildren, Kathi (Vincent) Alfano, Valerie (Todd) Adams, Tiffany Snyder, Steven Smith, Gregory Smith, and Ryan Smith; eight great-grandchildren, Xavier Friend, Lynnae Snyder, Elise Alfano, David Beeman, Natalie Beeman, Jonny Beeman, Cyrek Hesse, and Leonora Hesse; and brother, Lyle (Tina) Justice. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleo L. and Ila Maxine Justice; and sister, Margorie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nerine to the Denver First Church of the Nazarene Children's Ministries.
