He was born January 6, 1936 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Onesimo and Sylvia (Vasquez) Cordova.
On April 24, 1965, he married Mary Cervantes.
Carlos started working for the J N Marshall Company in the warehouse in his 20s. He retired in 1999 and then helped Mary at home with whatever needed to be done.
Carlos enjoyed completing word search puzzles and tinkering. When he was younger, he used to enjoy using metal detectors to find treasures. Carlos also enjoyed reading any books on treasures that he could find. He also enjoyed going to the movies and dancing almost every weekend with his wife, Mary. Carlos especially enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. In younger years, he also traveled to New Mexico to see relatives and the Four Corners. Carlos' favorite show on TV was The Price is Right and also enjoyed watching Western movies and shows.
Carlos is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Cordova; son, Michael R. Cordova; sister, Stella (Bill) Shepherd and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He is preceded in death by father, Onesimo Cordova; mother, Sylvia Cordova; four brothers, Gilbert Cordova, Joe Cordova, Moises Cordova and Alex Cordova; three sisters, Lydia Mace, Elsie Quintana and Rosella Baskell and two half-sisters.
