In Memory Of
Earl Michael Sims
1956 - 2019

Earl (Michael) Sims was born on September 25, 1956 in Jackson, MI to the proud parents Lee Earl Sims at age 47 and Eldora Sims at age 40. They loved him so much. He grew up with his grandfather Frank Sims in his parents’ house. He told me of the walks they use to take. Frank Sims lived till he was 105. Michael said he was so blessed to have his mom till a week before her 97th birthday. His father went to the heavens when Michael was 16.

Michael accepted Our Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a very early age. Michael attended Berean Bible Church.

Michael graduated from Parkside High school in 1974. He attended Jackson Community College.

He moved to Denver in 1976. His nephew/brother, Carvis, brought him to Denver. He started skiing right away. He loved the temperatures and blue skies in the winter time and the other seasons in Colorado.

Michael Brandon Sims Logan (Little Michael) was born on 7/3/1980. Michael would take Little Michael to Michigan to spend the summers with his mom & other family. We took him with us on a road trip from Denver to Las Vegas to southern CA to Northern California, to Northern Nevada including Reno and Winnemucca, Nevada. As father and son, they enjoyed many bike rides together.

Michael met the love of his life, Robyn Price (Rouse) in June 1989 and they married in 6/5/1993. Robyn and Michael loved to go to travel to FL & CA, and other states visiting family & friends. Michael introduced me to investing in the Stock Market. We went bike riding, walking, to concerts, the mountains & festivals and spent a lot of time with family & friends.

He retired GWL & Annuity Insurance Company after 25 years as Client Service Coordinator, Enhanced Participant Services.

He loved riding his motorcycles, skiing ⛷, bicycling, jazz, classic & R&B music and cars, shoes and watching Turner Movie Classics. He loved watching the Stock Market & collecting antique watches. His taste in clothes & shoes were Impeccable.

He and Robyn gave generously to his nephew and niece & great nieces & nephews in Denver and spent time with them.
Michael is preceded in death by his dad, Lee Earl Sims; mom, Eldora Sims; sisters, Elizabeth, Christine and Lillian.

Michael is survived by his wife, Robyn Sims; son, Michael (Juanita) Brandon Sims Logan; grandchildren, Mireya, Carmen, Tristan & Maximus; brothers/nephews, Carvis (Pat) Pope and Craig Sims; sister, LeeDora; and nephew, Rodney Sims.

He was a friend to everyone he met. He was a gentleman & gentle loving soul. He was loved by many & he will be truly missed.

We are blessed by so many. Thank you to everyone who blessed us. God is Wonderful & we thank Him for all of you who truly love us and blessed us. Thank You. God Bless You. Please Stay In Touch and Pray. Thank You.
