1939 - 2019

Esther Marie Lamb, age 79 of Colorado Springs, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019. She was born to the late George August Wojahn and Martha Pauline Lange on September 9, 1939.

Esther was predeceased by her loving husband of 25 years, Joseph L. Lamb. She was also predeceased by her brother, Harry Wojahn and sister, Grace Bronson. Esther is survived by her two brothers George Wojahn and his wife Linda, and Jimmy Wojahn. Three daughters Marie Steele and husband Kevin, Deborah Starkman, and Joanie Long and husband Jay. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Daniel Starkman, Joshua Starkman, Heather Long, Ryan Long.

Esther’s passion and delight in life was her family and friends. After retiring from Current Inc., she utilized her admirable work ethic and love to helping others as a visiting angel. Her commitment to never giving up was evident with her grandchildren. She was actively engaged in their lives to include flying to Okinawa Japan twice to celebrate achievements and holidays.

Esther requested for an intimate funeral with family, friends and a burial with her late husband. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her. For those who have known Esther in her vibrant journey with us, her graveside service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 12:00 pm.
