Ashley loved dogs and the bigger the better!! He loved Great Pyrenees and owned many of them throughout his life. Ashley also loved riding his motorcycles and driving his cars and trucks. He enjoyed the Classic Auto Car shows in Denver, Aurora, Golden, and Loveland. He loved to restore cars. He was a Ford man!! Ashley enjoyed traveling. He was blessed to visit Arizona, Moab, Sturgis, Graceland, Canada, New Mexico, Florida, and South Carolina, just to name few.
Ashley was a member of the Four (4) Players of Colorado where he enjoyed many years of riding ATVs, camping in Moab and other places.
He loved the lord and he loved music. He also loved a little bit of country and little bit of rock and roll. He was a professional DJ, and he worked under the name Mr. Nostalgia that specialized in music from the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s (disco), 1980s, and country. He provided music for weddings, class reunions, and other venues.
Ashley loved movies and one of his favorite was Bullitt with actor Steve McQueen. He loved the Mustang 390 GT Fastback. He loved watching television and enjoyed America’s Got Talent, Soul Train, American Band Stand, Mission Impossible, Hawaii Five O, Lost in Space, Johnny Quest, and 77 Sunset Strip.
Ashley leaves to cherish his memory and morn his passing, his best friend and companion for over 35 years Wayne Freeman; parents Ashley and Beatrice Johnson; his dog Mr. SexBomb. Bella, and Mr. Moonshine (RIP).
He is preceded in death by his sister Annette Harvey;
Ashley also leaves to cherish his memory and morn his death, his Brother in law Richard Harvey; Sister Mildred Turner (Tony); Sister Terrie Hillig (Charles Sr.), several uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, neighbors, and life-long friends.
