Lucille Rosemary Zaffree

Born August 31st, 1928 in Vienna, Austria

A loving wife to her late husband Thomas Zaffree. A wonderful mother to her two children late son Dean Zaffree,

daughter-in-law, Nancy Zaffree and daughter Mary Sherman, son-in-law Michael Sherman. A devoted grandmother

to her two grandchildren Jennifer Levitt, Matthew Zaffree and four great children, Addie and Gavin Zaffree, Rilen

and Sofia Levitt.

She escaped from the Nazis in WW2 and came over to the United States where she met her husband Thomas

Zaffree in New York City. Eventually moving to Colorado and raising two children. She was an exceptional

person who loved deeply and made friends wherever she went. She was an avid animal lover, the things that

mattered to her most in life were family, friends, and her pets. She will be deeply missed. We love you so much,

grandma! You are my angel.

A memorial service will held on October 16, 2019 at Newcomer West Metro Chapel at 12:30, Interment will follow at

at Logan National Cemetery at 2:00 pm
