WINGO JR, RALPH P.
WINGO, LURALEE CLARK

Ralph and Luralee Wingo of Littleton, Colorado died 15 hours apart, October 24-25, 2019 at
Porter Hospice in Littleton.

Luralee Clark (Wingo) was born in 1933 in Pueblo, Colorado and grew up in Rocky Ford, CO.
She attended CU Boulder, where she met Ralph square dancing and eventually were married.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Mathematics from DU.

Luralee taught math at Heritage High School for many years. She enjoyed gardening, playing
bridge, quilting and watercoloring as hobbies in her retirement. She was preceded in death by
her parents, William P. Clark I. and Vivian Marselee Cobble Clark.

Ralph P. Wingo Jr. was born in 1931 on the kitchen table in Craig, Colorado. Growing up in
Western Colorado, he enjoyed a childhood of ranching, fishing and hunting on horseback but it
was radio electronics that called to him. He graduated with an electrical engineering degree
from CU Boulder, served 4 years in the Air Force, then settled in Littleton to raise his family and
work for Martin Marietta as an aerospace engineer. He is pre-deceased by his sister Eleanor
Wingo Breggin and his parents, Elsie Baier Wingo and Ralph (“Bing”) P. Wingo Sr.

Through out their 67 years of marriage, Luralee and Ralph enjoyed the outdoors. The family
hunted, fished and camped every weekend it didn’t snow (and sometimes when it did). In their
later years, they enjoyed traveling and cruising, viewing wildlife through out the world.

Luralee and Ralph are survived by their daughters Vicki and Leesa and Vicki’s husband Keith
Eric Grant and grandsons Maxwell and Martin Grant; Luralee’s brother William (“Butch”) P.
Clark II and sister-in-law Barbara and many nieces and nephews. Their loving family and
friends were their greatest delight.

There will be no services per their request. Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s or Cancer
research.

Cards may be sent to Leesa & Vicki Wingo, 2831 Gillam Circle, Anchorage, AK,
