In loving memory of Albert John Butkovich.

Al was born on July 28, 1923 in Pueblo Colorado to John D Butkovich and Anna Butkovich (Grahek). He and Margaret Lundberg were married on July 21, 1948 in St Marys Catholic Church in Pueblo.

Al and Marge lived for a few years in Pueblo Colorado before moving to Lakewood Colorado where they lived for 50+ years.

Al and Marge had a great deal of love for the outdoors as they camped, rock hounded, panned for gold and turquoise, and snowmobiled in the Colorado mountains. They loved animals as they had several Blue Merrill collies over the years and even friended raccoon families with a heated water bowl in the winter and a ladder to their roof.

Al worked at CF&I in Pueblo, and drove a truck for Meadow Gold. Al and Marge also had a home improvement business. Al then sold insurance with Mutual of Omaha before Al an Marge then ventured into the precious stone (gemstone) business called "The Rainbows End" where they traveled and bought and sold to customers around the world. They even faceted many gemstones themselves.

Al was very strong in the Catholic faith throughout his life.

Al was preceded in death by his wife Marge, his parents John and Anna Butkovich, his brothers John and Joseph, and sister Mary Ann (Devries). He is survived by nephews, nieces, friends and neighbors, and he will be deeply missed.
