Mary Lou Garcia, 70, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at her home Friday January 10. She was born to the late Jose E. Sandoval and Ernestine Sanchez on May 9, 1949 in Silver City, New Mexico.

Mary graduated from Widefield High school in Colorado Springs, CO where she attended cosmetology school and met her husband of nearly 48 years Tony. They moved to Albuquerque, NM where they had three sons.

After moving back to Colorado, Mary continued working in cosmetology until her health began to fail. Mary fought for many years through multiple health issues with a positive attitude, a shrug and saying “I’m a Survivor”.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Brother Larry and Cornelius, sister Betty. Mary is survived by her loving husband Tony of Denver; Son’s Anthony (Molly) of Dunedin, FL, David (Sara) of Denver, CO and Daniel (April) of Denver, CO; 4 grandchildren Angeleah, Marcelo, Jerimiah, and Selena.
