Raymond E. Best III, 47, of Aurora, passed away February 4, 2020.
He was born February 8, 1972 in Crete, Nebraska, the son of Raymond and Anne (Dedrick) Best. He was a graduate of Rangeview High School in Aurora.
Ray was a member of PGA of America, the Colorado Golf Association and Alcoholics Anonymous. Ray was also the co-host for "In the Fairway" on ESPN Radio on 104.3 The Fan.
Ray loved golf, his cats and he had a deep abiding love for the Lord. He also loved to collect and build Star Wars Legos. Ray was the Colorado Junior Golf Match Play and Stroke Play Champion.
Raymond is survived by his parents, Raymond E. Best, Jr. and Anne Best; sister, Kathryn R. (Charlie) Lockhart; nephew, Mat Lockhart; two nieces, Hallie Lockhart and Anna Lockhart; aunt, Marilyn Best; uncle, Fred Andrews; several extended family members and a host of friends; two cherished cats, Smokey and Sousa and his beloved dog, Bam.
He is preceded in death by cherished cat, Pedro.
