Junior L. Manning, 96, of Aurora, passed away March 12, 2020.

He was born October 28, 1923 in Mountainair, New Mexico, the son of Lewis and Annie (Wallace) Manning.

Junior honorably served in the US Army during World War II.

Following his discharge, Junior went to work at Western Electric, staying on as AT&T merged with Western Electric. He was an Associate Engineer with AT&T and retired after many years. After his retirement, Junior was a Stage Carpenter at Aurora Central High School.

Junior is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Manning; children, Stormy Anderson, Steve (Kathy) Manning, Karen (John) Price, Philip (MaryLyn) Papst; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Butch Welty, several nieces and nephews, and Brother-in-law, Earl (Louise) Potter.

He was preceded in death by son, Clay Manning.
