David Ralph Wilpolt, 76, of Heather Gardens in Aurora CO, passed from this life into Heaven on April 27, 2020

He was born to the late Ralph and Ruth Wilpolt on July 28, 1943, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. With Dave’s military service behind him, he then pursued the next season of his life working as an electronic technician for companies specializing in radio and computer equipment.

Dave was an active member of the Master Masons, Henry M. Teller Lodge No. 144 A.F. & A.M., and served as Worshipful Master in 1984. He later transferred his membership to the Denver Lodge No. 5, where he attended regularly for many years. He also served several terms as Worthy Patron in the Order Of Eastern Star, South Gate Chapter No. 104, in Denver.

Dave married Anna Louise Heriford on June 26, 1992.

Dave is also survived by his brother, James Henry Wilpolt; niece, Jennifer, and nephews, Craig and Mike; other grand nieces and nephews; one great grand-niece; and one great grand-nephew. IF TEARS COULD BUILD A STAIRWAY

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know
But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay
