My condolences to the entire Drumright family at Duck's passing. I will always remember Duck and Sherry being two of the friendliest people I've known in my life here in Breck. When I moved here in "83, Duck and Sherry were part of the Village Pub family and the group of us always had a lot of laughs and good times. I enjoyed seeing him around town throughout the years here and will miss his stories and jokes, his laugh, and his sunny outlook on life. Rest in Peace, Duck and I am happy to know you will be reunited with Sherry.

Marc and I would like to send our deepest condolences to Duck's family. He will truly be missed as the long time local in Breck, and also for those of us on the other side of the pass.
I will miss sharing my Black Eyed Peas and Ham, Collards and other Southern cooking he loved. But will keep a smile on when thinking of him.
We are sending love to all the family.

Michael and I knew both Duck and Sherry for years. I worked with Sherry at the Village at Breckenridge for several years. Both of them always had smiles on their faces and always joked around. We'll miss you Duck!

I moved to Summit County from Evergreen in the summer of 1979 and started a roofing company with my buddy Mike McBride. Back in those days there was only a few roofing contractors in Summit County. (G&G Roofing, Steve Hall, Frank Ventola, Kim McConnell, and Mike and my company S&M Roofing and Duck. We met Duck soon after moving here and we became friends. Duck was an easy guy to like, he always had a joke or funny story to share and never considered us his competition, but rather a mentor and friend that would refer us for a jobs he was too busy to take on, and we would do the same, or to just stop by our yard at the cabin at 324 N. Main Street in Breckenridge and have a beer after a hard day roofing. Even years after my business partner moved on to Jackson Wyoming, Duck would always ask how he was doing, and take time to ask how I was doing. I've been fortunate to have known a lot of good people in my 41 years in Summit County and Duck was one of them. Rest In Peace Duck. Kerry Stanovsky

Duck was one-of-a-kind. I'll bet he knew just about everyone's roof and knew how to solve a problem when it arose. That's how we met. He was always my go-to-guy and he always came through. I will miss his stories and most of all his kind hearted personality. My thoughts are with his family on the loss of their loved one. Sincerely.... Linda

I always enjoyed seeing Mr. Drumwright at Fatty's. He would always speak to me, along with Mr. Ray Difani, as they were often on stools next to each other. He will be missed as one of the Ridge Street Regulars in Breckenridge!

Thank You, Uncle Duck, for being the greatest Uncle a nephew could ask for. You gave me my first dog on my first birthday in 1963. A little chawawa who lived for 16 years as my best friend. It was always a adventure when you were around. You had a special gift in making people laugh and be happy. I know you were welcomed in heaven by many who missed your smile and good humor. I look forward to laughing with you again. God Bless You Uncle Duck.
