Manuelito Good Wind, 63, of Greeley died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. He was born to Manuel and Anastasia Gonzalez on September 1, 1956 in Ft. Morgan, CO. He is survived by wife Pamela Ann, children Manuelito Manuel Good Wind, Wichapi A. Allen and her children Winter Matoshka Allen, Sophie Wilson, and Kane Purtell. Des & her children:Zcari & Zane. Krista, Jaymi, Dakota and step-children Justin, Jared, and Corey McCammon; one sister and her husband, Ron and Anna (Mary) Fisher, four nephews and their families, aunt Ramona Morales, uncle Leon Urdiales. Also survived by many sons, daughters, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters through the Lakota Sioux Hunkapi ceremony as well as cousins and friends. Preceded in death by parents Manuel and Anastasia Gonzalez, his Lakota Sioux parents Francis and Marie Two Charger and other Lakota family members, brothers Dewy Brave Heart and Richard Galeano, niece Anna Mae Summer Brave Heart (Wanblupa Win).

His career included time in the US Army. Always passionate about community he was employed by organizations such as Servicios De La Raza and Mulroy Community Center where his bilingual skills in Spanish served him well. Throughout the years he worked with many inner city youth and their families. He eventually moved to Northern Colorado where he began to pursue more involvement with his Native American ancestry through the Lakota tribe where he became a respected leader. He was an avid Bronco fan, and sports enthusiast. He never met a stranger and had a friendly and likable manner. He will be greatly missed.
