In Memory Of
David Lee Bayless
1952 - 2020

Dave was born in Galesburg, Illinois, and passed away in Denver, Colorado. His parents, Harold Edward and Rita Jane (Carr) Bayless and his brother Alan Bayless preceded Dave and welcomed him to heaven.

After graduating Galesburg Senior High School, he served in the Army. He attended Colorado University in Boulder, Colorado, and served as a Veterans Services Officer there in the 1970s. He retired from Century Link. Dave enjoyed golf and followed sports of all kinds. He was a self-described Chicago Cubs sympathizer but was a big fan of the Colorado Rockies, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Buffs football.

Dave is survived by his wife Rhonda (Klahn) Bayless, twin daughters Amanda and Emily and their husbands Daniel Olds and William Bastien IV, grandson William “Billy” Bastien V, Dan’s sons Landon and Ethan, nieces Lisa and Denise and their families, brother and sister-in-law Jeffrey and Janet Bayless and her children, sister-in-law Judy Bayless and her children, sister-in-law Alaya Klahn, and mother-in-law Dorothy Klahn.
Dave will be greatly missed. We are comforted that he is at peace.
