She was born June 23, 1929 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of John and Marie Maloney.
Joan worked at Fitzsimmons Officer club and then for Mervyns, her biggest joy was her great grandchildren, she loved all the pictures and watching them grow up. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Joan is survived by her children Marianne (David) Pyle, Elaine (Bruce) Pyle and Stephen (Susie) Jacobs; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sister Peggy Fischer and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter A. Jacobs, Jr., son Michael, and daughter Diane; and her sisters Mary Allene and Kathleen.
The services for Joan Jacobs will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at St. Pius X Church, 13680 E. 14th Place, Aurora, CO 80011, the viewing will be at 9 AM, followed by the service at 10 AM. The burial will be at Ft. Logan at Noon.
Unfortunately, there will not be a reception after the service due to covid circumstances.
