Patricia was born October 19, 1931 in Regina, Saskatchewan, the daughter of Fitz-Roy and Edith George. She grew up in Victoria, B.C., and attended Oak Bay High School. In 1954 she received a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.
In 1965 Patricia married Peter Tomashek and they moved to Denver. She was an active member of the congregation at Holy Name Catholic Church, where she taught catechism and was a frequent lector. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Colorado Association of School Executives for many years and was working for Embassy Suites hotels when she retired.
In recent years Patricia was a resident of the Gardens of St. Elizabeth, where she had many friends and served on the Residents Council. She loved bingo and game night and being a part of their wonderful community.
Patricia is survived by son, David (Joanna) Tomashek. She is preceded in death by husband, Peter Joseph Tomashek, her parents, and sister Mary (Fred).
