Donald A. Copeland passed away July 27, 2020 near home at Lowry Hospice after a very short illness.

Donald was born in Douglas, Wyoming October 3, 1940. He attended a couple of different schools growing up in Wyoming and the Denver area, finishing up at East High School.

Donald joined the U.S. Navy April 1958, training at the Naval Training Center in San Diego, CA. He transferred to Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL and then to Naval Station Argentia in Argentia, Newfoundland with the Fleet Air Service Squadron 106. Donald served until 1962 when he was released from active duty.

He moved to Denver and worked for Hertz Rent-A-Car until March of 1963. He met Marjorie Fultz in September of 1962 and married her on April 19, 1963.

In 1963, he started working at ACME Distribution Centers. He started as a truck driver and ended up being a top executive with ACME until he retired in 2002.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughter, Kim Cain and her husband Randy; grandson, Alec Cain; granddaughter, Taylor Petito and Ronnie; great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Lou Petito; brother Jerry Copeland and his wife Janice; sister, MaryKay Skinner and her husband David and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He will be remembered as the most loving, compassionate and forgiving man in our family.
