Barbara Jean Price was born November 23,1934 to Johnny Price and Hannah White in Yazoo City Miss. Barbara attended Humphrey County Learning School in Louise, Miss. Until moving to Denver, CO in 1952. After arriving in Denver, she enrolled in the old Manual High School, where she attended until graduating in 1955. After graduation Barbara attended nursing school at St Anthony School of Nursing.

Barbara graduated nursing school and her career as a nurse lasted about 40 years. Barbara loved nursing, and taking care of people.

She was a devoted member of Scott United Methodist Church for 65 years Barbara was born into a large family six siblings preceded her in death, Brothers, Robert and Johnny and Sisters Gloria, Dorothy, Thelma and Mary.

Barbara Leaves to cherish her memories her sister Hannah Vaughn and a vast number of nieces nephews cousins and friends. Barbara will be truly missed by all of her family and friends.
