Leonard Ray York, age 83, passed away on October 3, 2020 at his home in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Arlene; children, daughter Brenda York, son Chris York, daughter Gwen York Lobato (Marc), and daughter Kimberly York Paulsen (Mike); grandchildren, Sheleena Martinez (Aaron Anderson), Matthew Guerrero, Nathaniel Guerrero, step granddaughter Mary Paulsen Green (Jason Green), and step grandson Marc Lobato, Jr.
Leonard was born in Jasper, Missouri on May 11, 1937. He was preceded in death by parents, Massie and Creola York and three brothers.
His life’s work was as a draftsman and mechanical engineer. Later he formed his own company in sales of major manufacturing equipment.
His mountain cabin was a major item in his life along with hunting.
Funeral arrangements are by Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Dignity Memorial – Highland on October 17, 2020.
