Steven Roger Gaskin

Born July 15, 1945 in Denver, Colorado to Ivan and Franchell Gaskin. Steven was the third of three boys: Ivan Jeter (Mary) and David Michael (Roberta). Raised in Curtis Park Projects, Graduated Manuel High School in 1965 and entered the Navy the same year. He married Catherine DeVille in 1968 and had three children: Rhonda Lynnette, Steven Russell and Phillip Roger Gaskin, all of Denver, Colorado, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Steven was proceeded in death by his parents; Ivan and Franchell, his brother Ivan Jeter Jr., his nephew David Michael Jr. (David Michael) and his granddaughter Savanah Rae (Rhonda).

Steven was always a father figure to not only his own children but his nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. Everyone was always welcome and no one was ever turned away!!

Steven passed on Thursday, November 5, 2020.

We all miss you "DAD" and you will be in our hearts forever!!
