"...just passin' through..."

Keith D. Thyfault, 69, of Denver, born May 28, 1951, passed away on November 3, 2020 at the Denver VA Hospital due to multiple health problems, including the Corona virus. He was preceded in death by his parents, R. Keith and Ruth I. Thyfault. Survived by his brother, Scott Thyfault, his three sisters, Mariruth "Marty" Lorraine, Michelle (Ron deceased) Manchego and Tracey (Greg) Gonzales, and many more family and friends.

Keith grew up in Denver’s west side, attending Presentation Catholic School, St. Francis Catholic School and graduated from Denver West High School, Class of 1971. He joined the U.S. Air Force in October 1971 and served as a sergeant in the 474 Field Maintenance Squadron in the Vietnam War. He became a fabric and rubber product specialist while stationed in Thailand during the war. His service ended in October 1975.

When he returned to Denver, Keith worked as an upholstery specialist and also worked for St. Anthony Central Hospital as a groundskeeper for many years. He was married and divorced twice. Keith enjoyed the years he worked in the Central City casinos and for Denver Parks and Recreation department until his health conditions prohibited him from working. Keith loved to fish when the weather and his health were at their best. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening, watching the Colorado Rockies play and spending time with family.
