Trinie Solano, of Westminster, entered into eternal life peacefully on January 17, 2021 at the age of 76. She joined her husband of thirty-five years, Gabriel “Gabe” J. Solano who proceeded her into paradise on April 16, 2000.

She was born on December 4, 1944 to the late Solomon and Olivia Benavidez. She was the daughter-in-law to the late Benito and Emma Solano. She is the mother to Vincent M. Solano Sr and Gerald “Jerry” G. Solano, who sadly proceeded her in death.

She retired from Jeffco Public Schools in the Spring of 2007. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling to Chicago and Phoenix to visit family. Trinie, amongst a family of die-hard Bronco fans, enthusiastically cheered on the Las Vegas (late Oakland) Raiders! She was an amazing cook. Her specialties were her green chili, stuffed sopapillas, homemade tortillas and her unforgettable Tijuana tostadas.

Trinie is survived by her daughter, MaryLou Solano, her sister Irene (Don) Welling of Arizona and her only God child, Michael Montoya. Other loving family include the late Albert (Loretta) Solano, Ernie (Helen) Solano, Mike (late Julie) Solano of Arizona, Agnes (Juan) Martinez, Benny (Roxanne) Solano, Rose Marie Solano of California and the late Ramona Aragon.

Her beloved grandchildren include, Joseph (Desiree) Balderas, Jose Balderas III, Vanessa (Anthony) Peters, Vincent (Rebecca) Solano Jr, Randy Solano and Isaac Solano.

Trinie was known as “Granny” to her great grandchildren, Jose IV, Gabriel, Joseph, Nevaeh, Nariah, Isaiah, Aaliyah, Emilia, Roman, Adalee, Nathaniel and Ayden.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she embraced as family.
