In Loving Memory
Rodney Kemmerer
1966-2021

Rodney Kemmerer passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Panama City, Panama to Virginia Ramos and late Rodney D Kemmerer.

Rodney grew up in Panama and had many friends there. He came to the United States at the age of 19 and was supported by his relatives Ignacio and Elvia Fresquez. Rodney served in the NAVY for 7 years and for the past 25 years he worked as an X-Ray technologist and Medical Assistant. He loved helping others even if he was putting his life at risk. He spent as much time as he could with his daughter Nicole and he enjoyed going to the movies, eating out and traveling.

Rodney is survived by his beloved daughter Nicole Kemmerer; his siblings Lis Engstrom, Elisa Mendoza, Marta Salas, Jason Jacoby and David Jacoby; his nephews Alek, Jacob; his nieces Trini, Luz, Julissa, Natasha, Tanya and Amanda; many cousins and friends in the US and Panama who loved him dearly.

Private service was held in his memory

"God saw you getting weary.
He did what He thought best;
He put His arms around you
And said Come and rest.

He opened up His golden gates
On that heartbreaking day,
And with His arms around you,
Your youth gently slipped away.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
A part of us went with you
The day God called you home"
