In Memory Of
Patricia Ann Deden
1941 - 2021

Patricia Ann Deden was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She transitioned to heaven to be with our Lord and her loving daughter Michelle on March 28, 2021, her 80th birthday.

She was born to Harvey and Thekla Allerheiligen on March 28, 1941 in Beatrice, Nebraska.

In 1962, Patricia received her bachelor's degree in education from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. She spent six years, in three different rural Nebraska cities, teaching various grade levels in the parochial school system.

Patricia met her soulmate, James Deden, in 1967. After a one year courtship, they married in July 1968. Their 52-year union was blessed with two children, Michelle (deceased November 13, 1994) and Michael. She and James called Denver their home since marriage. Patricia spent 25 years with Denver Public Schools working in various office administration roles. She retired in 2004.

Patricia loved spending time in her garden with James; she felt rooting in the garden helped you stay close to God. She fed the neighborhood cats and squirrels because she was a lover of nature and all God's creatures. She was a skilled piano and organ player and filled several churches, most recently Our Saviour Lutheran, with the melodies from her magic fingers. But the role Patricia enjoyed most was that of grandmother to her only grandchild, Trevon. She truly put the GRAND in grandma. She never missed any special events at school for him or any of his basketball games. She even created a scrapbook for every event in his life so that he could always have a memory.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her husband, James, her son Michael (Tisha), grandson Trevon, her sister Jeanette King, her brother David Allerheiligen (Rita) and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that any donations be made in Patricia's honor at the Denver Dumb Friends League [https://www.ddfl.org]
