Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Jim started his education in Montessori school with an independent thinking and doing philosophy that carried through his life. Jim’s love of mechanics brought him to Golden, Colorado to study mechanical engineering at the Colorado School of Mines, with a year abroad on scholarship at John Cabot University in Rome. Jim had a love of his Italian heritage and frequently traveled to his family homes in Rome and Acuto, Italy.
With a degree and a Professional Engineering license, Jim founded Constructive Engineering and went on to design and build structures for businesses throughout the Denver metro.
Jim was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. A man of too many talents to count. An unstoppable do-er, designer, builder, artist, and solver of problems. An all-around athlete and devout hockey player with a love of two-wheeled motion.
