Geraldine Theresa "Gerri" Asdahl, 92, of Aurora, passed away March 31, 2021.
She was born May 12, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Edward and Genevive (Wiuatoska) McGarry.
She was a graduate of Our Lady of Perpetual Help High School in Lindenhurst, New York.
On May 16, 1947, she married John Morris Asdahl.
Gerri loved to read and do her nails. She enjoyed painting-by-numbers and crochet.
Gerri is survived by daughter, Patti (Hazel Wilkins) Asdahl; grandson, Edward Jason Asdahl; granddaughter, CasieAnn (Mike) Keller; grandson, John Reed (Nicole) Asdahl and six great-grandchildren, Dayton Blayne Asdahl, Brynlee Asdahl, Fischer Morris Asdahl, Gracelyn Asdahl, Robert John Keller and Devon Keller; daughter-in-law, Lisa Asdahl and nieces, Kim Flannery Hoy and Christine (Jeff) Wise.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Morris Asdahl; daughter, Laura Ann Asdahl; son, Edward Asdahl; father, Edward McGarry; mother, Genevive McGarry and sister, Lorraine Flannery.
