He loved to say "only the good die young", but, his wife and soulmate of 72 years, Elena, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, their spouses and anyone who met him would tell you "he was one of the all time best."
As Elena said, John had the purest heart of anyone she ever knew. Or, as his mother-in-law Rosa called him, "Mister Noble."
We will love and miss you till we meet again.
Special thanks to all of the Denver Hospice Staff and Applewood Assisted Living staff who cared for John and Elena.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations in John's memory be made to the Denver Hospice.
John is survived by his loving wife, Elena; his children, John V. Thomas, Gerald Thomas, Eugene Thomas, Gregory Thomas, James Thomas, Michael Thomas, Barbara Thomas and Stephan Thomas; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Bradfield.
