In Memory Of
Margaret "Peggy" S. Olson
1965 - 2021

On Thursday, April 8, 2021, Margaret "Peggy" S. Olson of Aurora, Colorado, joined her Heavenly Father at the age of 56. Peggy was born on March 21, 1965 in Heidelberg, Germany to Stuart Wood Jr. and Patricia Meredith Wood. Peggy attended Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado and received a degree from Barnes Business College. Peggy married her high school sweetheart, David Olson, on February 16, 1985; they have been on life’s journey together for the last 36 years.

Peggy was a hard worker, excelling at all jobs she undertook, from financial specialist to her own business, from managerial positions to being a mother. It was this last "position" which became her greatest pleasure and priority.

Peggy had several other passions and hobbies. She loved well, always striving to ensure her family and friends knew they were most important in her life. She had a passion for all music, loved anything to do with the beach, and was an avid skier. She overcame her demons and was a strong advocate for Alcoholics Anonymous. Peggy’s huge heart and zest for life was known by everyone who knew her. She loved all animals and, if called upon, was willing to build an ark.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Stuart Wood Jr. She is survived by her husband, David C. Olson, her two kids, Cassidy S. Olson and Calvin D. Olson, her mother Patricia M. Wood, her three siblings, Meredith L. Edman, Stuart Wood III, and John E. Wood.

A private family service will be on April 29, 2021.
