Cynthia Manning
1968 - 2021

Cynthia Marie Manning of Thornton, Colorado, age 52, passed on April 14, 2021. Survived by her
son Evan Tyler Manning, sisters Diana (Jim) and Lori Manning. Also survived by her niece Erin Bueno,
niece Erika Houston, nephew Joey Martinez, great niece Ofelia Martinez and great nephew Gio Childs.
Preceded in death by her parents Joe and Percy Manning, sister Joan Manning, and her nephew Derick
Martinez.

Cindy Manning was born on September 1, 1968. She was the third daughter out of four born to
Joe and Percy. Cindy was always a daddy’s girl. No matter what age she was, her dad would always drop
everything to go help her. Cindy was very independent and well-liked with many lifelong friends. She
was very free spirited, and she always lived her life to the fullest. She loved to travel, and had many
plans she wanted to fulfill in her life.

The best thing that ever happened to Cindy was the birth of her Son Evan Tyler Manning on
February 3, 2004. She finally felt what true love was; she was always so proud of him. Evan said his mom
was always encouraging him. She was a very positive influence in his life. Along with the birth of Evan,
Cindy’s other great accomplishment was when she bought her first home for her and Evan in 2009.
Although future plans would have some day taken them both to Tennessee with her best friend Trish
(Asa), she unfortunately never had the opportunity.

Some of Cindy’s happier times was when she was in church. She loved her church family at
Grace Chapel, and she loved her involvement in the skit team. This is where she formed many of her
lifelong friendships. She always considered Pastor Simpkins to be her lifetime pastor.

Throughout Cindy’s life, she had many jobs. She was a faithful employee at Royalcrest Dairy for
19 years. This is also where she met her best friend Trish, a friendship that has lasted over 20 years. She
eventually left Royalcrest Dairy to go work for Zayo. She loved all the friends she met while working
there, and she felt very blessed to work for such a great company. She has a special place in all their
hearts and she will be missed.

Cindy’s favorite holiday was Halloween, and she always had an extravagant display for trickertreaters. She loved scary movies and scaring people. Her favorite was Michael Meyers from the
movie Halloween. She had a collection of horror memorabilia, and she had just about every horror
movie that was released. Some of her other hobbies were karaoke, shopping, collecting expensive
purses, dancing to all music.

Cindy loved extravagant things. She had a Champagne taste on a beer budget. She was seriously
considering buying a Birkin purse.

Cindy loved being with her family at all the gatherings and spending time with friends. Everyone
enjoyed being around her, especially her McAllister clan. Her sense of humor would always have
everyone laughing and her laugh would be very contagious.

Cindy was always the life of the party. She was always living her best life. Although Cindy’s life
was cut short due to Covid, one memory that we can all share about Cindy was her passion for life and
not letting the bad outweigh the good. So, when you think of Cindy, be sure to sing this in her memory.

You Can Dance,
You can Jive,
Having the time of your life
Ooh, See that girl
Watch the scene
Digging our Dancing Queen
