Mark Allen Craft
1954 - 2021

Mark Allen Craft, 67, died April 9, 2021 in Aurora, CO.

Mark was born April 28, 1954 in Denver, Colorado Lloyd and Barbee Craft. A 5th generation Colorado native, Mark grew up with his older sister Sharon in Denver and Littleton.

Like a lot of young boys of his era, Mark developed a love of cars. In his adult life that interest narrowed to older, more vintage Chevys. He owned three of note. His first was a 1960s era rear-engine Corvair. After using it for some years, he decided to preserve it as a future antique and put it in a commercial storage shed to age. Less than a year later the lock was cut and the car vanished. Until a year ago, he owned a 1970s era Chevy Impala that he kept in fine shape. He acquired his third when his Uncle Dale in Vermont offered to sell him at a family price his 2003 deep green impeccable Chevy Trailblazer with only 105,000 miles on it. In January 2020, Mark flew to Vermont and then drove it the 1,900 miles back to Englewood on summer tires (snows in the back) barely ahead of the winter’s first major snowstorm. He then proudly transferred from the Impala to the Trailblazer his distinct Colorado Pioneer license plates that had graced each of his two previous oldies.

His interests included his cat, cars, and collecting small model cars. He was active in his apartment community and had many friends within the complex.

Mark is survived by his mother ,Barbee (Ron) Bellefeuille; sister, Sharon Craft; uncle, Dale (Alice) Hyerstay; stepmother, Dottie Craft and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members. He is preceded in death by his father.
