In Memory Of
Abel A. Duran
1948 - 2021

Abel Arthur Duran Sr. age 73 passed away Wednesday April 28th, 2021. He was an amazing man and he was a hard working man of Carpenters and Millwrights Union for 47 years. He was a member of the Christian Church Pray Center. He later became a Catholic, no matter his religion he was a man of God, and forever will be.

Abel was born in Pueblo, Colorado and later moved to Denver, Colorado where he then lived there for the remaining years of his life. His talents included refurnishing anything you gave him, fixing everything in his sight, and taking very good care of his lawn. He was a loving man and there are so many things and ways to show and speak about him.

He had 3 amazing kids Abel Duran Jr, Sirena Duran, and Nathan Duran. He loved each and every one of his kids very much and he would be amazingly proud of them. With his kids came 6 grandchildren Chrisyllis Duran, Mariaha Duran, Serenity Duran, Angelo Duran, Jolean Duran, and Kayla Duran. He appreciated all his grandkids like they were his own. He also had a great grandson Josiah Martinez, who he dearly loved more than ever. All of this wouldn't have started without his caring wife Phyllis Duran. They have been married for 54 years, bought everything together, raised their children, and helped each other survive. Phyllis, his wife helped keep him alive for the time he was sick and he was grateful for her and still is.

Abel Duran is a person with a smile you can stare at and just see what a great man he was and the soul he had. His love, thoughtfulness, kindness, and memory will live on forever and eternity.
