Robert Gregory Harris, 64, of Aurora, passed away May 14, 2021.
He was born October 14, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Robert and Sylvia (Thompson) Harris. He was a graduate of Shortridge High School in Indianapolis. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Denver where he played on the basketball team.
Robert was an avid golfer and reader. He also loved playing and watching basketball and listening to music. Robert will be remembered as a great conversationalist, being well-versed in many subjects and loved to share that knowledge with others. He valued his friendships and was a very loyal friend, having life-long friendships around the country.
Robert is survived by his wife, Marjorie L. Brown; brother, Kevin (Yolanda) Harris; a cousin who was close like a sister, Gwen (Tony); sisters-in-law, Debbie (Randy), Cheryl (Dennis), Jackie (Lewis) and brothers-in-law, Allen (Ragina) and Lance and many nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends around the country.
He is preceded in death by father, Robert Lee Harris; mother, Sylvia Deloris Harris and younger brother, Ernest Harris.
