From Anne and Grant’s family; Nathaniel and Katie Wiemers of Westminster, Logan Wiemers of Arvada, and Madison Wiemers of Westminster.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents William and Elma (Gladys) Weber, and his three older brothers and their wives; Robert and Gertrude Weber, Russell and Leah Weber, and Phillip and Edwina Weber.
Paul was born in Aurora, Nebraska May 16th, 1926. His family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska when he was in the 5th grade, where he graduated from Lincoln High School in January 1944. He served in the United States Army in Europe during World War II from 1944 to 1946, and then again in the US in 1951 during the Korean War.

Paul graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1951.

Paul moved to Denver Colorado in 1952 to take a position with Ingersoll-Rand as a sales engineer where he sold large industrial air compressors, pumps, and other products to businesses in Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and New Mexico. His favorite projects were working on the Eisenhower- Johnson tunnel on the Continental Divide in Colorado, and being on the cutting edge of snow making for the Colorado Ski area. He spent his entire career with the same company retiring in 1987.
After moving to Denver, he met his wife Mary Ann who was a nurse. They married November 26, 1955. In 1956 they moved to the 1st of their four residences in what was unincorporated Jefferson County at the time, and eventually became the city of Lakewood.

Raising their family they traveled frequently, visiting relatives in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Wisconsin, and also annual vacations towing their tent trailer across much of the western US and into Canada.
In 1988 Paul and Mary Ann purchased a vacation home in the mountain town of Dillon Colorado. They enjoyed the time they spent upgrading the home, and the times they spent with friends and family.
As the children left the nest, Paul and Mary Ann continued traveling together, although without the trailer, to places like Alaska, the Panama Canal, Scandinavia, and many other European countries. They also travelled in the US and Canada, and attended three Broncos Super Bowls.

They became Bronco season ticket holders in the 1st year of the team’s existence in 1960. In addition to Bronco’s games, they attended many of their grandchildren’s sporting and other activities and events.
Paul and Mary Ann both spent time worshiping and volunteering at Messiah Lutheran Church which they were members of since their marriage. Paul volunteered time at the church mountain property in near-by Indian Hills. Paul and Mary Ann also volunteered as “Ambassadors” at Denver International Airport sporting their cowboy hats, string ties and western vests helping travelers find their way around the airport.
Paul enjoyed photography, bowling, and woodworking, but his greatest interested seemed be the company of other people, whether they be family, or friends he made from acquaintances through various life activities. He was curious about anything and everything and could create an easy conversation with friends and strangers alike.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paul’s memory to the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, 11177 W 8th Ave, Lakewood, CO 80215, or click on the “donate” tab at the top at https://ddrcco.com/
