In Memory Of
Michelle Day
1961 - 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Michelle Day announces her passing on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the age of 60.

Michelle was born in Santa Maria, California on May 2, 1961, to Frances Day and the late James Day. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Denver, Colorado in the class of 1978. Michelle loved her family, her dogs and didn’t know a stranger. She was artistic, making jewelry, writing poetry and children’s books. Michelle was a natural born entertainer with her quick wit and a joke. She played piano and was passionate about sharing her gift with others. She loved to sing and missed her calling as a singer in a rock-n- roll band. Michelle found joy in playing Santa to the children in her neighborhood and reaching out to the elderly. She was a lover of life and the life of the party!

Michelle will be lovingly remembered by her children Christina Day (David Platt) and Justin Day. Her grandchildren, Michael Smith (Judith), David Smith and Ryan Smith, and great-grandson, Francisco Smith; her mother, Frances Day and stepfather Douglas Colbert; brothers and sister, Steve Day, Nick (Debbie) Day, Cheryl (Mark) Schoneweis; nieces and nephews, Amber Bricco, Tiffany (Jaime) Martin, Joshua (Giselle) Day, Elijah and Alexander Schoneweis and seven great-nieces and nephews. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, James Day and brother, Joel Day.
