John Keith Mulé
1991 - 2021

John Keith Mulé 30, of Woodland Park, Colorado, passed away September 19, 2021 at UC Health’s Anshcutz Medical Campus after a short battle with COVID-19.

He was born on April 30, 1991 in Galesburg, Illinois, was raised in Canon City, Colorado and graduated High School in Canon City in 2009. He moved to Colorado Springs in 2010 and from there he moved to Woodland Park, Co. where he worked several jobs, many at the same time. He met and made lots of friends in co- workers and the customers he served. He finally consolidated his efforts at Wendy’s Restaurant where he became a Manager, and met his loving girlfriend Jessica, whom he made a home with for over 2 yrs.

John is survived by his parents, Jo and Tony Mulé of Canon City; “Big Sis” Lacey Cardenas (Miguel) of Thornton; “Bro” Tyler, of Beloit, Wisconsin; “Lil Sis” Nicole (CJ) of Canon City; Sister Destiny Dunaway (Adam) of Canon City; and Girlfriend Jessica Anstett, of Woodland Park. He had lots of proud Aunts, Uncles and Cousins as well. The two most loved people in his world were his niece, Isabella Cardenas, “Squirt”, and his nephew Blayne Watson “Lil Fox”. He loved them more than life itself and made sure they knew it.

He was preceded in death by his ornery but loving Grandma, Bethel Bak of Canon City.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Memorial Park in Woodland Park, Colorado at the Performance Shelter for his local friends in the area.

Other family and friends that wish to attend are welcome, however the family understands these are difficult times to be traveling and gathering. Masks are encouraged, after all, COVID-19 is the reason we are having this celebration.

John always wanted to be a Jet Pilot so arrangements have been made for his ashes to be scattered over the mountains via airplane.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation. Click the link:
