Donna Rose Guzzetti, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 30, 2021.

Donna was born on July 1, 1963 in Denver, Colorado to the parents of Jane and Eloy Madrid. She was the eighth child of nine siblings, Eloisa, Carmen, Gloria, Tony, Vickey, Patsy, Mary and Penny. She married her best friend and soulmate Michael Guzzetti on May 23, 1997. Donna was a loving mother to her five children; Lorena, Daniel, Breonna, Makala and Michael Jr. and to her nine amazing grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Devin, Javier, Christian, Nevaeh, James, Vivianna, Ameliah and Melanie.

After having children, Donna went back to school, graduating from Emily Griffith Technical College and became an LPN, working at Bethany Rehabilitation Center for twelve years till the Lord called her home. If you knew Donna, you knew just how big her heart was and how far she’d go to make sure everyone was taken care of. Donna was always so loving and caring. No matter who it was, her home had an open door policy for whom ever needed it.

Donna loved taking trips to Las Vegas. Playing the penny slots, relaxing by the pool with an ice cold bud light lime in her hand and sunbathing was the way her and her husband liked to unwind. Everything she did her husband was right by her side making sure no one told her no… not even him.

Though Donna was called home so soon, the love, laughs and memories will live on forever through everyone whose lives she touched. Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be sent to:
