In Memory Of
Thomas Joseph Padilla
1970 - 2021

Thomas Joseph Padilla passed away at home on October 13, 2021. He was 51 years old. He passed peacefully in his sleep, after struggling for several years with physical and mental health issues.

He was born on January 11, 1970, in Denver and grew up and went to school in Denver, other than 1986 and 87 when he lived in Idaho Springs, CO and attended Clear Creek High School. After returning to Denver he worked in construction and then became a Certified Nurses Assistant. It was while he was working in an assisted living facility that he met his future wife Robin. They married in 1995 and had 2 sons, Soloman in 1996 and Matthew in 1998. He went back to construction work as a heavy equipment operator.

Sadly his health issues began to take a toll on his life, and he became unable to continue working. For the last several years he remained at home, taking care of his animals and drawing and writing, and digging in the garden.

He is survived by his sons, Soloman and Matthew, his Mom Linda, his Dad Richard, his brothers Steven and John, his sisters Sarah and Maria, and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his little brother Patrick, his stepdad Alan, and his beloved Padilla grandparents. He was a gentle person, and loved his family and friends deeply, and he was deeply loved in return.

“This is the day that the Lord hath made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it”
Psalms 118:24
