Jenifer Lynn Nicoletti, 67 of Denver passed away on Sunday, October 31st. She was born to the late Albert and Mary Nicoletti on September 23, 1954. Jenifer grew up in Denver, Colorado and graduated from Marycrest High School in 1972. In 1989 she graduated from Nursing School at Community College Denver. She and Michael Dire were together for 20 years and married in 2014 and lived in Denver, Colorado.

As a Registered Nurse, Jenifer and was passionate about making a difference for her clients in the patient care field. She loved to travel with her friends and family, was a fervent Parrothead, loved live music, sipping tequila and great food. Her greatest joy in life, though, was her family, spending any free time she had with her two grandsons, Wyatt (9) and Owen (5) and making delicious meals with her loved ones to enjoy together.

Jenifer is survived by her husband, Michael of Denver; her son, Nicholas Zupancic and his wife, Avery of Washington DC; her daughter, Natalie Payne and her husband, John of Denver, her two grandsons, Wyatt and Owen; as well as her sister Marsha Lutes and her husband, Jack of Denver. She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mary Nicoletti.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Jenifer’s name to the Colorado Humane Society or the University of Colorado Ralphie Program.
