Linda Fay Cleckley was born November 15th, 1951 to Roland and Enzlee Armstead in Galveston, Texas at John Sealy Hospital She was the fourth girl born of 5 from this union.
Linda was baptized at Greater St Matthews Baptist church in Hickok TX, and attended Lorraine Crosby school in Texas through 1963, when the family moved to Denver Colorado.
In Denver Linda attended Steadman School, Smiley, and Denver East High school. Linda enjoyed the social benefits of her high school years, and valued the close relationships created during those years until her final days.
