He was born September 7, 1929 in Norton, Kansas, the son of Charles and Opal (Dunn) Anderson and was raised in Norton, Kansas.
Chuck met and married Glenna Mae Anderson in Englewood on November 8, 1947. He was discharged in July 1949 and they moved from Eglin Army Airbase, Florida back to Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Chuck and Glenna moved to Englewood in November 1950 and their son, Glen was born on January 10, 1951. They then moved to Thornton in October 1955 and their daughter, Charline, was born on June 6, 1958.
Chuck and Glenna joined Charity Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in November 1961. They moved to Parkland Estates in 1989 and when Chuck built the Ice Plant in Barstow, California he would fly home every other Friday to bring Glenna back with him to Barstow for two weeks.
When Charity Chapter, O.E.S. closed in 2000, Chuck and Glenna were transferred to the Loyalty Chapter. They then moved back to Thornton in September 2000 and lived in the ranch house that they have today. When Chuck was elected Grand Sentinel in 2009-2010, Grand Associate Patron in 2010-2011 and Grand Worth Patron in 2011-2012, they spent these years traveling to the 42 Chapters in the State. They also traveled to North Dakota when Chuck was Grand Representative for 2 years, traveling to Bismarck one year and Fargo the last year.
Charles is survived by Son, Glen Anderson; Daughter, Charline (Anthony) Perez; Grandchild, Kristin N. (Jay) Miller; Two great-grandchildren, Leonardo A. Miller, Airianna B. Miller; nieces and nephew Sheri (Mark) Diehl of Chicago, TJ (Malama) of Denver. Debbie (Marty) Cohen of Florida and Cynthia Stevens of Virginia and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by Wife, Glenna Anderson, Father, Charles F. Anderson, Sr., Mother, Opal Anderson, Siblings, Jean Wofford and Lyle H. Anderson.
