Phyllis D. Mattrass-Miller
July 19, 1932 - June 18, 2022

Phyllis was born in Denver, CO to Joseph and Dorothy Mattrass at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband (William Miller), two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her four children, Wade Melies, Jim Melies, Alan Melies, Laura To, daughter-in-laws Shelley Melies, Lori Ahern-Melies, son-in-law Lou To, her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Phyllis was a strong and fierce supporter of her family and a passionate animal lover. She loved to laugh and spread her smile and joy to everyone she met. When you looked into her beautiful blue eyes, you saw the soul of a beautiful loving spirit.

Her passions included dancing, traveling, bowling, watching the Broncos, cheering on her great-grandchildren during their sporting, musical and school events, and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed a good margarita!

Phyllis passed peacefully with family by her side.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to your favorite animal rescue, or to Ovarian Cancer research.
