Mehl D. Goforth, of Aurora Colorado passed away on June 19, 2022.

He was born to the late Ermond (Dutch) and Winifred Goforth, July 16, 1937 in La Junta, Colorado.
Mehl graduated from East High School in 1955 and went on to join the U.S. Army as a Photographer.
He was married to Jill Goforth for 64 years.

Mehl had many interests one of which was flying. He earned his private pilot's licence and went on
to earn his instructors licence so he could share his love of flying. He and his wife also loved 4-
wheeling in the beautiful Colorado Rockies.

Mehl is survived by three children: Alex Goforth of Birmingham, Lynne Haycock of Greeley and
Joseph Goforth of Aurora. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son Andrew Goforthas well as his brother Charles Kesey .

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations are made to Bladder Cancer through the
American Cancer Society.

A private memorial will be held by the family.
