In Memory Of
Christeen Parrent
1940 - 2022

Christeen has come to the end of her journey and traveled her last mile.

We must forget that she ever frowned and remember only her smile.

We will forget any unkind words she has spoken.

We will remember all the good she has done.

We will forget all her heartaches and remember the fun.

We will forget that she stumbled and blundered.

And sometimes fell be the way.

We will remember that she fought some hard battles and

won by the close of day.

It will be hard not to grieve for her going.

She would not want us to be sad for a day.

Remember in summer just gather her some flowers

And take them to the place that she lays.

Come in the evening when the sun paints the sky in the west.

Stand for a few moments beside her and remember only her best.
